I threw this picture in because I thought it was really cute! This was at our second yard sale a week and a half ago. Parker fell asleep when my mom was holding him:)
I thought it sounded like a fun idea to make salt water taffy with the kids. I saw it on TV when the Hoepner family made it on that show where they have sixteen kids. Well, needless to say there was no pulling required for our taffy. It was just runny, sticky, goop! Actually we made two batches because the first one I really messed up by switching the corn syrup and cornstarch amounts. Kailey was telling me it was kinda good, but "kinda powdery." It was gross! The second batch tasted good, but was not hard enough either. Hey, I tried!
