We took the kids to the Indy Children's Museum last Saturday. Kailey had been begging to see the King Tut exhibit all summer long! (which we were all a bit disapointed in) Parker started crying as soon as we got through the exhibit doors, and I had to leave with him and basically miss the exhibit since they won't let you back in. I think that is crazy since we paid double for our tickets to see it! Otherwise, the girls had a lot of fun that day. Brooklyn said her favorite part was playing in the water in the Kids Area with the fishing poles; although some girl kept stealing her fishing pole from her. Kailey liked the Egypt marketplace the best and could've played there all day!
Here are the girls trying on some Egyptian clothes in the marketplace of the new Egypt exhibit. This was actually really neat. They had it set up like a marketplace and homes in Egypt. You got on a "airplane" to get there and it was simulated like an actual airplane w/ turbulence and scenery out the "windows."

It's hard to see here, but this was taken in the dinosaur area, which is also pretty cool. The girls loved looking at the bones of the dinosaurs. The girls also love playing in the ice cream parlor at the museum. Every time we got there they love playing here and pretending to take ice cream orders. I had gone to feed Parker and came back to meet Dustin and the girls at that part, and some kid was jumping to try to get the play ice cream out of Dustin's hand. Dustin was trying to keep him from taking it away from Brooklyn again, but it was funny! LOL
